Joe Goddard - All I Know
I’ve always felt the best way to describe love is “having someone on your team”. It always seems like the analogy is lost on girls, though. Those sports hating she devils…
Maybe Joe can change their minds.

Prinzhorn Dance School - Happy In Bits
Prinzhorn Dance School came out with a pretty simple video for their awesome new track, “Happy In Bits”. In typical PDS style, the track is sparse but it’s still amazing.
They’ve been working on a new album for a bit, titled Clay Class. It will be out on DFA on January 30, 2012.

DJ Kaos’ output has been rather slim in the last two years. In 2010, he released the Horny Morning Loop 12” on Jolly Jams, but even those were merely remixes of his work.
In 2011, DJ Kaos makes his return to DFA Records, where he released the excellent Love The Nite Away 12” in May of 2009 (in association with Rong Music) with the “From Inside” 12”.
It’s krautrock, through and through. Included on the record are a couple of different mixes by Tiago. Listen and fall in love.
The Juan Maclean - Deviant Device

The Juan Maclean (John Maclean and Nancy Whang) haven’t been terribly prolific as of late. Since the release of their third album, The Future Will Come, in 2009, only a couple of remixes and a DJ-Kicks compilation have come down the pipe.
While Everybody Get Close is not a new album, it’s a collection of things none of us have heard before. B-Sides, new remixes… the whole she-bang. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Before I continue to sound like a stupid fucking press release, it’s just a really awesome collection of tracks and the one featured here, “Deviant Device”, is probably my favorite.
The synths rumble low under obsidian mountains of space echo, a Juan staple, while the drums furiously (and mechanically) make the pace. Vocoded vocals kick in around the six-minute mark, but they don’t last long.
I can’t say the song really goes anywhere, but it’s one of the sexiest grooves around.
Woolfy - Looking Glass
This isn’t a new track, it’s just an amazing one. Awesome video as well. Go snag the 12” from DFA that includes the Extended Mix of this track. It builds and breaks with the best of ‘em.
Slightly NSFW as naked breasts are visible.

Starts at 8:30PM, which I presume to be in the Eastern Time Zone (5:30PM for us West Coasters). Listen to the new album from The Rapture in full and stay for a band Q&A!
Everything in its right place. The Rapture got BNT.
The Rapture - How Deep Is Your Love?
The Rapture are back! Thank Jesus. No seriously, thank him.
Anyways, this track is surprising because it’s a departure from their traditional dance-punk sound and into pure house. Will the rest of their album sound like this? Who knows.
White Out Session #4 is here. It’s the new 7” from YACHT for their track “Utopia” off the upcoming LP, Shangri-La (out June 21).
The bouncy bass line is a lot of fun and I especially enjoy the little ditty (uke?) that runs prominently in the intro and outro.
The Crystal Ark - Touch
I don’t want to talk to you today. Listen to this instead and enjoy the rest of your day.
Gavin Russom rocks and Viva Ruiz has a nice voice. DFA Records still know how to pick ‘em.
