UPDATE
The video I posted a few days back has been tweaked. This is now the final version.
I found a bunch of extra footage from London and added that in. The runtime has gone from 2:37 to 3:34 to accomodate the extra footage.
Check it out a couple posts down.

In December of 2011, I traveled to London with my family. The sky was gray, the air cold, and the wind whipped fast. This is how it felt.
Shot on a Nikon D3100 with a 18-55mm kit lens.

In Case You Missed It of the Day: Stephen Colbert sits down with Where the Wild Things Are author and affable crank Maurice Sendak to discuss a potential Where the Wild Things sequel among other penises.
Part 2 airs tonight.

The Shins - "Simple Song"
What an anthem.
The first Shins’ album since 2007, Port of Morrow, comes out one day in March. This makes that day a reasonably exciting one until proven otherwise.

2011 in summation
randrenfrow:
JAN - SEP: Felt the best I have in my entire life. OCT - DEC: Felt the worst I have in my entire life. I am still alive. People still love me.
Amen.
The twenty-third year has been the worst one yet. But I guess that means we can only go up from here.

Walking.
I love walking. Especially in massive, cosmopolitan cities that make it a real joy. London is one of these places. Los Angeles is not.
Walked to a delicious English breakfast in Westminster at a shop they call Regency Cafe. Wonderful. Sausage, beans, toast, egg, bacon. The woman at the counter is something else. A nice lady with a Howitzer of a voice.
From there, I took a jaunt over to...

London...
Jet lag is Satan’s gift to travelers. One minute I’m wide awake and ready to tear London apart, the next I’m waking up 6 hours later over the covers in full suit wondering what city I’m in.
For some reason, I went to a terrible facsimile of Tex-Mex and Texas BBQ called The Texas Embassy near Trafalgar Square. Not sure what I expected and a review is unnecessary....
